Albert Ball's Final Resting Place

After the war was over Albert Ball senior had a proper monument erected for his son's grave which is still maintained by the Ball family up to the present day. The grave has the distinction of being the only one of an Englishman to be located in the German section of the Annoeullin Cemetery. The relevant grave number is 643. In 2000 Chris Blackamore visited this cemetery and took the three photographs of Albert Ball's grave shown below.
