From the May 1963 edition of "Expand" magazine, which was the company magazine for Clutsom and Kemp, who were based in Coalville, Leics. They had a number of factories, including Elastic Yarns Ltd on Castle Boulevard/Grove Road, Lenton.

In 1973 Elastic Yarns sold the building but transferred operations to Sandiacre. The new occupants were Steada Raywarp Ltd., textile manufacturers. Shortly afterwards, Steada Raywarp were taken over by Courtaulds. Courtaulds soon decided the Castle Boulevard factory was surplus to requirements and, unable to find new occupants, eventually had the building demolished. |
