As the caption on this picture postcard makes clear this aerial shot shows part of the Wollaton Park Housing Estate.

Probably taken in the late 1920s the bottom left of the photograph shows that Wollaton Hall Drive had now been laid out. Work on any of the houses on this and the southern side of Charnock Avenue, however, has yet to get underway.

While the properties that make up the Wollaton Park housing estate are all in place much still needs to be done on the individual gardens and the boundary walls.
