This gravestone bearing the name of Martha Taylor was taken for an article on the Taylor family entitled 18a Willoughby Street that appeared in Lenton Times Issue No.21.

The article indicated that we did not know what subsequently happened to her husband, Arthur Taylor and their two daughters, Hilda and Lillian Irene Taylor.

In the Society Snips section in Issue38 we updated the story and revealed that Arthur Taylor remarried in late 1922.

He and his second wife eventually went on to run a shop on Porchester Road in Mapperley and Arthur died in 1951. He was buried elsewhere.
