Church Avenue is a small section of road coming off Trinity Avenue. It is a cul-de-sac with the boundary wall of the graveyard attached to Holy Trinity Church. This photograph was taken by Paul Bexon in 2008.

The same scene but this photograph was taken by Peter Holland back in 1978. Apart from the fact we are in black and white the other descernible difference is the lack of motor vehicles parked outside the properties.

Back to 2008 and Paul Bexon's photograph shows more of the properties on the eastern side of the street which are all detached houses rather than the mix of a set of semi-detached properties, the short section of terraced housing plus a single detached property on the other side.
