The eastern side of Radmarsh Road is now dominated by the recent arrival of the student residential complex known as Riverside Point. Much has had to come down to make way for this development but one survivor is 'The Three Wheatsheaves' pub situated at the junction of Radmarsh Road and Derby Road |
Looking southwards, back towards the junction with Derby Road, part of the Riverside Point development can be seen on the left while buildings which house the Toyota showrooms and workshop facilities are on the right of the photograph. |
Moving further away from the Derby Road junction you continue to see the Toyota premises on the right and the Riverside Point development on the left. |
|
In this photograph the Riverside Point development appears more centre stage. This student housing development is one of several in Nottingham operated by the Unite company. |
Much the same section of the Riverside Point development as in the previous shot but looking northwards along Radmarsh Road. The student development would appear to have acquired its name from the River Leen which can be found nearby. |
Toyota's outside parking area on the left and the last portion of the Riverside Point development on the right. On the skyline are the cranes being used to help construct the next stage of the Jubilee Campus extensions. |
|
In December 2007 at the end of Radmarsh Road a small business park was situated where a number of small businesses operated. However the site is shortly to be [or already has been] acquired by Nottingham University for subsequent incorporation into its Jubilee Campus site. |
